Lentil soup

Classical Middle Eastern dish, known from biblical times. For lentil soup Esau sold his birthright to Jacob.

2 portions

1/2 cup lentils
1 stalk celery
1 carrot
4 laurel leaves
1 1/2 tsp rosemary

1/2 bundle coriander

Slice celery and carrot, put all the ingredients to a pot, add 3 cups of water, and cook 40 minutes, adding water as necessary.

Before serving garnish with finely chopped coriander.
