Ingredients

Risotto - a mixture of chickpeas, assorted beans and lentils.

Chili - a small elongated pepper.

Tamari - a Japanese soya souce.

Curry leaves - small green leaves used in Indian cooking.

Ginger - a root of greyish color.

Jeera - cumin.

Khing?? - asafoetida.

Khaldi - curkuma or turmeric.

Meti - shambala or fenugreek.

Masoor dal - small brown lentils, pink when skinned.

Continental or Egyptian lentils - the standard khaki-colored lentils you see on grocery shelves everywhere in Europe.
